Back Firing, Cutting out

I own a 02' SX600R. At the end of last riding season my sled started acting up. It will run ok for about 20 seconds and then start cutting out. When I hit the throttle to keep it going it will backfire sometimes and it will want to cut out. I will feather the throttle to keep it going. Once I get past the low end it seems to run fine. But once I return to idle it will do the same thing. All 3 plugs are black and a little wet. Tried 3 new plugs. Drained gas tank and put fresh fuel and dry gas in tank. Checked compression. Checked spark. Checked all 3 chokes on carbs. Everything checks ok. Could I have something wrong with the carbs.
This sled is stock and has 2600 miles on it. Looking for any advice.

Try by-passing the TORS at the carbs, if it still does it, clean the carbs. If after that the engine still does it, check the coils.
