I have a 01 v-max 700 deluxe with an odd problem. Ran fine , shut it off and it would not start next time I went to use it. No spark. Brought it home and put it in the barn and it fired up. Rode it and temp light code was 8 flashes,multiple voltage or something. I pulled alot of the harness apart and found a few wires by left foot had been repaired( black ones all going to common plug, redid these and sled fired right up. ran for a bit then shut off. Temp light is now on when key is on. No spark when rolled over with electric start, disconnect relay on top of battery and pull start it , it starts and shuts right off. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
