What models used that 1976 secondary..I think on some of the 570's???
Need a spring chart as well.
How many helix options are there for it?

Thanks yes..correct answer...thanks...
Are aftermarket helix parts made for it...if so what angles..
How about stronger springs...I thought the Enticer spring fit it...
I'm sticking it on my GPX,,,

The SRX secondary is far superior to the GPX unit. There are at least 4 cams for it. I believe they are 42, 42-39, 45 and 47. Some of those are for Phazer. They were on 70's Exciters as well. It says in the owners manual but I am at work so I will have to check.RJH said:Thanks yes..correct answer...thanks...

Thanks - I'm after the big numbers...49 would be nice..and stronger than stock springs...
Hope you guys can give me some numbers..
I have a ton of helix's Advantage gave me,,but they are for the 99 Phazer...that clutch opens the wrong way...for me
I ran the stock helix on the 338 with no problems.in the day....but I agree the SRX one is better and nice and light...

I forgot to mention we use the pink Vmax spring. They are strong and last pretty well.

Use a polaris driven spring, they fit nice, and correct the binding issues with the Yamaha spring, gold seems to work great, HPE has a chart
Cat secondaries work very well on these too, but you need a different jackshaft.

What year?
Do you have any pictures posted of your sled?
jackshafts
can you tell me if the 70's exciters, srx's and gpx's all used the same spline jackshaft? thanks in advance.

Not sure on the setting for the gpx, i use the poo spring for an exciter, which uses less pressure, trial and error i guess. All gpx's srx's, and exciter's use the same spline jackshaft.
