Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone had a ignition timming Graph on the 2001 srx?

I have posted the timing specs a number of times.
I did a search on here but didn't see it. Do you just have the valve timing spec or is it a graph?

Valin, what about the viper's timing map? Or better yet, the 8EK high RPM box?

Ok what about the sx boxes? Are they all the same 6-7 different years?
I am doing an overhaul on my viper, how would I adjust the timing? the stator is pre-made to bolt on directly, and the flywheel has a woodruff key. Sorry for hijacking the thread.

The simplest way to adjust the timing is by installing an offset timing woodruff key to advance or retard the flywheel position relative to the crank shaft. Hauck used to sell various timing keys.

24 degrees 4500 rpm
25 degrees 6500 rpm
18 degrees 7000+ rpm
Happen to have the specs for the 600 srx box? They are supposed to be a little hotter in the midrange.

Nope.
Thank you Valin. Hard to believe I had to advance timing on my motor to make power with that much in the cdi.
OKay, thank you sideshowBob, and valin for the specs. Nice thread.

Danger, which ignition are you referring to, and in what scenerio?
