Ok I did a little searching in the forums and I don't believe this exact question was asked:
Is an '05 Mtn Viper Seat a bolt on replacement for a '02 "Shorty" Viper seat? Looking at the parts number there is one letter difference in the coding which I'm hoping is just the softer seat upgrade they had starting on '04 model Vipers. Can anyone confirm? Thanks. -- Stu

The fuel tanks are the same part number, so it looks like they ARE interchangable on that aspect....

ALL VIPERS from ALL YEARS have identical "sized" seats.
To clarify: Seats not identical necessarily in appearance or texture, but all Viper seats will fit all Viper models, as I'm aware. I've swapped them out and never had problems.....

The 02 seats were smooth and not too plush, the 03 had a "perforated" texture, not sure if they were any better than the 02's, the 04's were the best with pleated lines like the Viper S--similar to srx's. I don't believe the 05 mountain has the pleated one, it looks like the smooth one in the parts picture.
