Is it possible????
I need to replace the front shock, sliders, bushings, etc on my "no-action" stock sled, but came across a 08 Nytro skid for less overall $$$$.
Any info would be much appreciated!

wouldn't mind hearing and seeing how it goes, others might be interested in seeing that as well. i haven't heard of anyone doing that but i'm sure they have thought about it.
good luck if you decide to do the install and let us know how it goes.![Thumbs Up ;)! ;)!](https://totallyamaha.net/images/smilies/div20.gif)

TTT Please
Im sure it could be done. Just need to take some good bolt hole measurment from the nytro and transfer them over to the srx.

So got it done. I mounted the rear bolt 11/8" back from the stock location, measured the distance to the front holes and relocated the mounts. I used the rear shaft out of my stock skid as the nytro shaft was not wide enough. It is the exact same diameter, just longer. I used a 1/8 washer on each side of the front mounts. It looks really good. (will post pics later).
Unfortunately it does not transfer at all! I am not sure if it is because the front end is too low with the stock SRX Ohlin's in the front, or if I just dont have the geometery right? The front limiter straps are all the way out. It rides great over the bumps and seems to plow through the deep stuff ok. Just can't get the skis up?
I also set the rear spring to the stiff setting.
Is it norman for the rear scissor arm to be on the blocks when you are sitting on it?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

im not sure but i think there are some blocks you can get for the rear that are adjustable. Also there are brackets that you can get for the front shocks to raise the front of the sled about two inches.

Time to re-kindle!
I am still having transfer issues with this skid.Does any one have the stock 08 Nytro rear suspension measurements?
I would like to know:
Drive shaft to front arm mount
Inside top of tunnel to front arm mount
Front arm mount to rear rear mount
Inside top of tunnel to front arm mount
Thx in advance!

those blocks are adjustable. i put an 07 nytro suspension under my 800, and have no problem with transfer, even with the 4cyl up front. Turn them big nuts on the rear scissor all the way down, then go up from there if it is too much.
What about an XTX skid under an SRX?

I am looking to buy a nytro skid, and these are the measurements the seller gave me. he said these are within a 1/16".
Freeze can you post up some pics? Is it worth it, should I do it or look for something else?

Sorry Guys. I haven't checked this for a while. I actually ended up finding a nytro tunnel that a friend of mine had swapped. My original measurements on the back mount were wrong.kgwmu said:I am looking to buy a nytro skid, and these are the measurements the seller gave me. he said these are within a 1/16".

The dimensions that kgwmu are bang on.

I did the swap and the little 600 srx rides great now! It transfers much better than stock, but its no wheelie king.
I actually ended up using the stock back mounting location. This could be my transfer problem, as in order to meet the 10 1/4" drop you will need some drop brackets. She already has a pretty good "rake" compared to stock being in the stock location. From what I see, that would be a 2 3/4" drop below the tunnel.
The front mount ends up being very close to the "U" bracket that every thing mounts to, but it can be done.
I am actually in the process of doing another one. This time its on a 99MM. I'm using a 08 NYTRO RTX 121" skid with Hartman 136" extensions. I am going to set the skid back 4" and do a 144" x 2" track. I have extroverts and this time I'm going to put "anti-stabs".

My SRX is not here, but i will take some pics on the weekend if people are still interested.
