I bought this sled last year with 400 miles so I know the shocks have never been touched. Question is should I replace them with new ones or have them rebuilt if thats possible. if replacing what would be a good cost effictive replacement. or does anyone have any they want to sell. sorry I need front and rear.
Thanks Jason

They are rebuildable, how do the shafts look (rusted pitted etc...)
There are a few sponsers on here that do shocks and i know a few people as well, rebuilds are usually around 25-40 per shock depending what you need MUCH cheaper then a new shock if you could find it for the sled.
I would do this in the off season and go through the skid at the same time to see how the cross shafts and bushing all look.
Also a warning the Shocks have needle bearings in them and the front of the top shock has a needle bearing on each side of it that the bushing runs through be careful with these so you don't mess them up when you take it apart.

shafts look fine and I was going yo wait until spring to do it. $40 is more than a reasonable price. I just don't want to sink alot of money into a 14 year old sled.
