I just can not get over how lousy February has been in my corner of the province. We had such a smokin winter up until that miserable rain storm a few weeks back that demolished about 70% of our snow and ever since then any snow storms that have come along missed us.The temps wont co operate either by cooling down and staying below freezing which might just help keep what snow we do have left from all melting away.We were able to sled from the door yard but now to go riding it's a half hour drive to unload and I don't know how much longer we'll even be able to go from there if the weather doesn't start acting like February.
We certainly got spoiled the past couple of years with the amounts of snow we got and now with this winter turning into a crap shoot all we can do is pray for a decent finish.

At least you guys had a ride on sled! Here in NL I only had 115 kms put on my sled this year, one day on sled! The next day I struck a rock and destroyed a trailing arm (this was because of a lack of snow). Then I had a day on the old Bravo, a good laugh but not fun after a couple hours. We never had any snow this winter hardly, never even got a good 1 foot dump of snow here in central. 45 minutes drive away on the highway its awesome for sled though. Problem is now is that even if we do get snow in march, I can't go anywhere because the ice is getting bad, mild for the last month. This time last winter I had 1700 kms put on the sled in 3 weeks.

Well they cancelled Cains Quest for this year due to the weather and low ice conditions! Usually -30 C up here in Labrador in Feb this year it is +1+5 Absolute $hit!!!
same down here in New Brunswick. I got one good run in and now the ice is starting to get bad and the snow is gone. The trails are down to grass in some places and the fields are showing grass. However we are sapsoe to get 20+cm this week, but not counted on it because every other snow storm passed us. Let is snow!!

I never even got to see if the jetting/clutching for the pipe I installed were good set ups or not, the only day I got for a ride, it was 5 deg Celsius and the snow was kinda wet and sticky. What a bad winter. I can't believe I got to wait another year to get for a ride on sled!

I think that the weather sucks everywhere!!!Nobody has been able to put on any miles on their sleds...We head up to Mancelona Mi a few times a year and every time we think of going it's warm or their's little or no snow... I live on the western shores of Lake Erie and we do have some Ice to go riding on but NO SNOW...Only rode about 225 miles all year...In years past after work I would ride my sled everywhere never drove but to work...It just sucks... Pray for snow!!!!
