Went for a ride 85 miles and used 2qt. of oil? Never used that much oil in the past, sled has 3,700 miles, not fouling plugs, gas consumption normal air temps around 32 degrees. I'm not a huge sled wrench what do I look for? Oil cable adjustment, a leak? Help! had to use on trail TCW3 oil because it drank it that quickly, does that cause more consumption? Friend said his Polaris 3 cyl. used more oil on warm days? Thanks for any help!

Start with checking your oil cable adjustment and also look at the cable to be sure it isn't moved or caught on anything. Satisfy yourself that the throttle is moving the oil pump arm over it's full range and returning when you let off. Look for signs of leak while you're at it. If the oil pump is bad, it goes full delivery so that is a possibility. The pump is expensive and changing one out is a bit of a job.

Problem fix?!?
I won't know until I ride again but the cable was out of the sleeve,(not lined up properly) so there was tension on it causing oil to flow freely, my guess and so I lubed it re-positioned it and we'll see what happens next ride!

You probably fixed the problem. When the cables not seated right they like the oil.
