I live just north of there. If their trails are anything like ours they have gotten soft and are getting pounded down to the dirt because of the recent weather.
 
im having a hard time just getting to the lake i run on. i live right in town and usually they keep some snow on the roads for snowmobiles to get to trails.

They looked pretty good from Stevens Point north. Once to Wausau, the trails looked great, and anywhere north of there they have been awesome.


I rode every day for almost a week before and after V day weekend, and the only issues I saw were semi trail stuttered trails on heavily used trails near Tomahawk and Minocqua. The nice ice base and not a ton of snow didn't allow the 3 foot mega whoops to be formed. As long as up north keeps getting a 2-4inch recovering at least every weekend, the trials should be good all the way through mid march, provided the temps don't raise much.

I plan on heading up again for early march for my B day extra long weekend.
