how the hell do you remove the pins that hold the float bracket to the carbs?? One side of pin is flat and the other looks normal.Tried pushing in one direction but no movement.Is it a frition fit..do I tap the end with a hammer and some sort of tap??Don't want to screw this up now..lol Wanna get to them 3 screens under thw float where the floating pin seats into

I just use a pointed punch and give it a little tap, dosen't take much.

dremel cut the float and the pin falls right out. LOL I use a small pick and a lighthammer tap and they come out. What carbs?

Use a small punch and tap it out. The first 1/8" is tight then it just falls out.

I use one of those spring loaded automatic center punches. I adjust the spring pressure to provide a light force. Works every time and I don't risk cracking on of the cast leags which the pin goes through to hold on the float.
