With all the posts about this particular issue I was wondering if anyone has some pics of before and after of their broken steering stem and the repair job.This is one of those things I need to address myself over the summer as I feel like I've been lucky so far in that mine hasn't broke yet,knock wood,and I have a bar riser which I believe to be one of the root causes of them breaking.

Riser or not, they still break. I welded a small section of pipe to the base of the mount, then slid the pipe in the stem, and welded everything. Sorry, no pics.
