So my friends 05 f7 spit another belt couple weekends ago. Shortly after that his idle started hanging then stopped. Rode this last weekend at the radar runs couldnt get the rpm's up wtf right well 1 of his motor mounts looks shot(hence the belt blowing) anyway all of sudden the idle's so high kicks in his throttle saftey switch. WTF now of course i tell him its cause its a arctic cat.we could get it to run if u made the connection on the throttle for tss. pull the throttle bodies here's some of the stringy shit from when he blew the belt. The bad motor mount let the motor pull the carb outa the boot and in went the belt matieral.
just thought i would share cuz it sure supprised us.

That's not the first motor mount that I have seen go on a cat. The other one I saw personally was a new that season ZRT600. I was actually riding the sled when it blew the first belt, the it ate the second and we saw what was the issue.
Good news was that the dealer fixed it under warranty, and gave him at least 1 new belt too. Not bad, but I thin that was the dealer's choice to make him totally happy.
Little stuff like that and putting cheap components on their sleds is reason enough for me not to ever buy one again.
