Does anyone have first-hand experience running or ride with someone who uses either the Compoplast Ice Ripper or Kimpex Ice Attack tracks? I currently have a 3/4 lug studded track and the traction is a little crappy. I was wondering if one of these taller lug tracks with built in "studs" would be a good compromise to running a studded track. I don't run on ice but I like the safety of some sort of traction product in icy corners. Also, what would be the maximum lug height I could run on a 95 V max 600, I have drop brackets but I don't wanna do any crazy mods if I don't have to.

I run the 1" Ice Ripper from Camoplast. Used to have a stock .9 yoko with 96 studs up the middle. I would say the Ice Ripper is a little better
You really found the built in studs to be a good alternative? Thats good news. The traction is the snow was improved as well with the taller lug?

I'm not a racer but in the trails I have a hard time sliding the back thru the corners. I should also add that my track is a 136
i like mine 1.25 x 136
