Hi all.. Sorry if this gets asked alot but I searched and couldnt find exactly what I was looking for.
What "used" rear skid assembly would you all recommend as an upgrade to my 99 Vmax 700? I see that many do the viper swap, but i'm thinking I would like something a little better if i'm going to go through the whole process of swapping it out.
Looking for better bump absorbing ability and deeper snow handleing improvements.
What years and models will fit? I believe mines a 121", but what else needs to be known prior to a purchase?
I've seen ZR and MXZ skids for sale but I don't really know what the heck i'm looking at or for...

Is a skid upgrade worthwhile or can I get away with just the shocks being upgraded?

Now for the clutch. I want to improve the hole shot and if possible be able to pop the front up on certain occasions. What do you recommend? Can I just buy a clutch kit already assembled for a quick bolt on upgrade or is that not gonna be the case?
I'm hoping to get some specific answers cuz I wanna be sure when I buy..
What brand, size, spec's, etc do I need? And whats with the "weights"?? I see some kits that say "weights not included"..

My track is studded (94)

Thanks for reading...
