Finally had a chance to take out the sled and find out how it runs. There were 5 sleds....me, 2008 F6, 1998 storm, and the ladies were on a couple of 500's. F6 kept buggin to go for a run hes got 1.25" track w studs so i kinda wanted a long topend run with my stock track.,.....we said first one to the other end of the bay (approx 4 mi.) wins...storm decided to pull up too. Well, near the end of the lake i look back to my right and storm is about 6 sled lengths behind.......neither of us are gaining and we stay like that till the end......looked back and could barely see the F6 headlight through the blown up snow, wish my speedo cable wasnt broke lol...........I later noticed on the way home my belt was torn up bad, and had to throw on the spare . What belt do you guys recommend I buy with my setup......any input is appreciated.....

i have a ultimax xs 805 on mine , i love it . had it on for 3500 km and still sits in secondary nice. used them all over the years and found these were the best. i 'm studded with 196 and 1 inch predator track, stock clutching.just my 2 cents!

Was your belt in good condition before the run ?
If so then you need to line up the clutches , 4 mi wot wont blow belts there is a or other contributing factors , before spending $100 check things out

why do you run for 4 miles you should be able to do what you have to in a quarter mile
