New to the forum and snowmobiles for that matter. Have an 02 viper and absolutely love it. Need to replace track for next year and have to replace 2 bogey wheels before i go out riding again this year. Do all billet wheels have rubber on them and if so, does the rubber wear out? Or, are there some billets without rubber? Any help is greatly appreciated.

first off welcome, you can get billet wheels with or with out the rubber .rubber ones are required if you are running a studed track so the heads of the studs don't chew up the alumium. if not running studs the bare aluminum ones are fine. i have 9" bare aluminum ones on mine since christmas with 1200km's and there still in perfect shape. my buddy has ones with the rubber and has had problems with the rubber flying off but that might just be the particular brand.
