Just made the switch today to ipone oil and love it already. No more coming home and having to leave my riding gear in the shed because it would smell out the house. Now after today no real noticeable smell. Any one else running it in there non powered valved motors?
the smell is one of the best parts of the sport. im waiting for someone to bottle that smell.

Never tried ipone oil since, I switched to Blue Marble from smelly Klotz and it has very little smoke and I don't miss the smell.

I've used about 5 liters of it this year...I love not having to keep my suit outside from the smell, but not lov'in the price
But still trying to figure out if using synthetic has put my oil usage up because of it's ability to flow better .....let me know if you see yours using more oil ,some conformation on this would be helpful

It has a strawberry scent if i remember correctly,, to hard to find for me . in my cats i ran klotz but it wasnt that easy to find so went to amsoil since everybody seams to carry it now.
currently i sold my cat and have a sxr and been running the rest of my old cat synth oil threw it..once it is gone i debated about trying klotz again since i do still run it in my atv. but it goes thre a gallon a year vs. a gallon a weekend. love the smell of klotz.. it is a motorhead smell
anyway i was at my local cenex and they had some snowmax pv full synthetic oil that is mad for CENEX seen the price at 18.30 a gallon and talked to a guy that has run it in his new 09 cat crossfire 800 with no problems so i bought 2 gallons.
my buddy thinks i am wasting my money with a non powervalved sled and running synth in it. tells me wal mart 2 cycle is all i need.
at 18 bucks it is cheaper than yamalube only thing close to cheap is wal mart oil for 12 bucks a gallon or resolute 2 cycle for 16.95 for a 2 gallon jug.

IPONE.. can be purchased with strawberry scent or no smell. I purchased a litre bottle but havent tried it as of yet. For those who have... for real.. it doesnt smell?

My gear does smell a little after riding but i'm not sure it if's from mine or the other sleds. But I will say that the smell does dissipate quickly, actually I have brought my gear inside to dry off right from riding and the smell is very little.

I have been running it since 2006 in my 1995 vmax 800 with no problems seen so far !!

I was always under the impression that the ones that usually smelled good, usually had higher amounts of pariffin in them. One of the Arctic Cat non-powervalve oil smells like clothes drier sheets.
