i have a new in the wrapper yamaha part with the part number but cannot find out what years it fits. searched on yamahasportsplaza.com but it tells me there is no match for the part number. how do i go about finding out what years it fits ?

8BW appears to be a Vmax-4 prefix. So may be older Vmax I can't seem to get anymore info off

excellent , appreciate the help. im probably gonna end up sellin this as i see a bunch of guys with older v-maxs much more deserving of a new cover than my old bark scratched and dented old sled. trying to make sure of the years its for befor i list it , just dont want anyone complaining they didnt know what they were getting.
