OEM srx clutch weights

Are oem srx clutch weights and rivets still avaliable from Yamaha or do I need to look on Ebay for them? I'm looking for stock weights for 79 srx.

I'm sure you can find some. I may have some and will check when I get time. There are some Yamaha vintage parts warehouses like Speed and Sport Inc or Stadium Yamaha.

8M6 weights

I found some stock weights for the 80 clutch, but they don't look the same as the ones I took out. The weights I took out have a '8M6' with the top rivet hole filled, two holes total. Could these be an aftermarket weights from back then or from an 81 srx?

The stock 79 weights are a 8G9 weight. They show they are still available from Yamaha. If you can not get them from your dealer, Speed and Sport inc in PA has 15 in stock. Jeff Wurl

THOSE ARE STOCK 81 SRX WEIGHTS IN YOUR FIRST PICTURE. THEY ARE GREAT FOR RACING IF YOUR STILL USEING THE STOCK YAMAHA PRIMARY CLUTCH LIKE YOU. IT ALSO LOOKS LIKE SOMEBODY CUT A ENGAGEMENT NOTCH IN THOSE. SPEED AND SPORT PEOPLE ARE GREAT TO DEAL WITH. 3:16 (yammie tony)
