Fer anyone following my exciter SX teardown thread, you know I have stuffed a 1.75 Camoplast Backcountry track in there.
The problem is, even with drop brackets for the rear , the lugs are still rubbing on the very front of the under-seat coolers, right up near the drivers.
After removing the seat, it looks like there is some room to try to move them back a bit..maybe 1.5 inches, but then Im thinking if Im going through the trouble of removing all the rivets, I may as well relocate them.
My srx for example has them under the footwell area, rather then under the seat. Whats the pros / cons of running them under the footwell? Id rather run them there, and be able to run that track with plently of room, and MAYBE not need the drop brackets.
Has anyone ever eliminated them all together?
