i saw a viper that had the spot below where the winshield sticks out, had a plastic piece filling in the space down to the hood with a mirror in it. anybody know where to get these?been looking around and not having any luck. thanks awsome site also has anybody ever seen a 2004 viper s with a red hood?
 

I found mine on Craig's List. While they fit on the sled really nice, they are pretty much useless as a mirrors. The mirrors are very small, mounted too low and not adjustable at all. The only way to see what is behind you is to lift up your left arm and bend down to look under it. I am thiniking about replacing the actual mirror (which is flat) with a convex type to help improve the vision area.
 
I got mine out of a Canadian Yamaha dealership. Seems that you can buy different accessories for both your Yamaha ATV and snowmobile in the different markets, and if you look them up accordingly the part numbers will not be in the different markets.
 
i also been looking for a set because i had a set and ended up breaking on. So i was looking for a set and have yet to come up with them.
 
I purchased mine through ronnies a few years back. The mirrors seem like a good idea but the visibilty is not that great, you will have to bend and twist inorder to get a view. The only positive things I see with them is at night when your leading you are able to see lights behind you and keeps you from looking back as often and also it keeps a little more cold air from hitting your body because it fills up the narrow spot in hood.
 
Hey thanks farmer! The fill in mirrors are bad. Mine came with the stick out ones that mount on the side and they work great. Do a search i had pics posted of how they look. I was going to take them off but after i rode with them now i wont ride without them. CCC
 
one more vote for the regular mirrors. its what I went with on mine, for the same reasons stated above. the small ones dont do anything other than block a little wind
