Any help would be appreciated. I just bought a 02 viper a few weeks ago and took it up to michigan to do some riding. Rode about 65 miles and it ran out of gas. Pulled plugs and they all look black. The sled runs great even with having fouled plugs, but for some reason it is really sucking gas. Any thoughts?

Is this your first sled. Do you know everything thats been done to the sled. Gearing, clutching, carbs or pipes? You should be getting like 140 a tank trail riding. Sounds like its running rich. Might want to go thru carbs or have someone you trust go thru it.

check you reeds also.Mine were chipped in few places and worn.Installed new ones and snap is back and gas mileage went up to.
x2 on what baron said. sounds like a piped sled that someone removed the pipes on.
