Does anybody have a rough idea how many gallons are left in tank when the low fuel light comes on. My only test was when the light came on and i rode for a bit and when i filled up i put in 10.7 gal. Still had 1 gal left. Only problem did not look to see how many miles i went post light going on.

If you're getting that deep into the tank then you are doing better than me. I just posted a similar question about mine. Except when my light comes on and I fill up I only put about 7 gallons in after about 80-85 mi.

Reason im wondering is im piped and im getting about 10-11 MPG. So that would be about 110-120 miles on a tank compared to my wifes stock viper which gets about 140-150 miles on a tank. If i new when that light came on i would know roughly how far i can stretch it.
mine has been doing the same thing, light came on after 80 miles and i put 9.5 gal in

on my '04, when the tank is full, it takes over 40 miles before the gauge drops off the completely FULL mark. then after that it is about every 10 miles or so, another mark drops off. when the low light comes on, there is still about 3 gallons left in the tank.
