Anyone else wanna talk 2stroke vs. 4stroke??? LOL. That thread last night was ruthless. Someone test road a new 4stroke w/power steering and commented on how much it cost... and it got out of hand after that. For some reason I cant find the thread today... LOL. It's all good folks. Words flow better when drinking a nice glass of wine!

:bash:

ive never rode a four stroke. i have always owned two strokes. i do like they way they sound, and am amazed at the power they are getting out of them.

its only a matter of time before yamaha makes a 2stroke direct injection....

be nice because 1) never thought i would see trailing arms but i did 2) a-arms did that too 3) 4 stroke ..yup 4) a deverse line-up that isn't all carbon copy...yes

Be careful what you wish for.......2 stroke direct injection...

i have driven both and i think there very compareable in performance the only thing i dont care for is the rider up style of the newer sleds.i personally dont think yamaha will go backwards to building 2 strokes, only for the fact that with the fun nazis out there, thinking that a mirr human can effect the enviorment of a planet and there ever increasing restictions on emmisions, i dont think the 2 stroke has much time left, unless the enviro natzis are stopped and put in there place. look at any recreational activity they have effected all of them with there nonsense, and driven up the cost of them causeing less people to be able to try/enjoy them, thus shrinking there market to only the wealthy not the average person, once all the used 2strokes are gone the average person will not be able to efford to enjoy any recreation involving a motor. so buy your snowshoes/oars/and hiking boots now before they say that there damaging the enviroment and need to stop being used because of all the co2 your exhaleing while your useing them!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a fin joke! there should be a season for these fools

I can't fathom a world in which Yamaha goes back to making 2 strokes for snowmobiles.

The thread the OP mentions got canned last night, I didn't get to see why exactly but at some point it must have gotten carried away and one of the mods or the CEO flushed it.

man... imo Vipers are still the best trail sled made, I personally think the only reason they were stock 120 H.P. is to make the 4 strokes feel better

production Vipers with an SRX powerplant would have made for a weaker transition into the 4strokes

its tough to beat the feel on the first 200 feet or so on a Nytro though :die:
