hey guys, i am thinkin of taken the pv's out and give them a cleanin. I think i know how to check for pull throughs, but want to make sure. If i take the 4 allen bolts out, if it is pulled through will this mean that the valve will just come out. Is this correct. Also, do i need to remove the pipes or can i get away with it. I did it before and removed the pipes, but do i need too.

yes if it is pulled thru if will stay in the cylinder when power valve housing is removed ...but that dont mean it aint about ready to pull thru ...best bet is remove servo cover and start sled and idle it below 900 rpm and the servo will go to full open position ...mark the pulley and backing plate so you can be sure servo stays in the open position ..remove pv housing and pull on the valve til enough cable come thru to remove valve from cable ...than clean the cable slot with a qtip and make sure the cable end hasnt started to embed itself in the valve top already ....than reassemble using the mark you made and set clearence to 2.5 mm .....if your valves need fixed ....i can fix all 3 cheaper than you can buy one new one for ...and when you get them back they will have stainless steel ends in them and pull thru will never be a problem again ...you can contact me by phone at ..one two one nine, seven four one ,seven four six eight ....

wow how come i never ran across this til now ..you been doing them for years you should give back to the site and become a V.I.P.
