Does any one know the torque specs for a 99 phazer 500 (485)cc Fan cooled
I need the head ,cylinder, manifold and case reed bolt specs. Or if anyone has a pdf manual of this sled would be awsome! I just purchased this sled for my kids and I am going to change the pistons and rings and all new gaskets there is only 5000 km on the sled but clutch side compression is getting pretty low 90 psi, mag side is 120! I only paid 700 bucks for it so I am gonna put a couple hundred into it. Thanks in advance!!

The best thing when doing that kind of work would be to get a genuine Yamaha service manual. You will be using it for the entire time you own the sled.

Someone gotta know the torque specs for the cylinders and heads!
Well
I'd go 20 ft lbs on the cylinders and heads. But that's not out of a manual so you might want to keep checking.

I went 24 ft/lb on the cylinders 14mm and 16ft/lb on the head bolts because the head bolts are only 10mm head I didn't want to snap them off Do I have enough on the heads?
