Found an old style of the hauck growlers, and went to install and noticed the far outside can pushes on the foam on the bellypan... Wondering if all of them do this. Hope it won't melt though anything...
They are pretty loud at idle and low speeds, but was pretty surprised that they tamed down when you braap the throttle. The MBRP can may just be louder than these IMO. Needless to say they sound great!

I've these on my srx for two years and they have'nt melted anything. Do you still have the aaen pipes for sale and do you have a mbrp can you want to egt rid of?

I got the aaens still. Would sell if someones interested in them, don't have an mbrp. Do your growlers touch the bellypan?
The touch the exit hole in the belly pan but no melting going on. Im interested in the aaen pipes but on there web site the 600 is one number differnt than the 700 but all the aftermarket cans work for 600 or 700's im not sure yet.

Alright. The can bodies don't touch the side of the bellypan by the reflector on the side? Mine do for some reason...

how did you mount the heat shield??
I just installed mine and it comes with a heat sheild for my 02 srx in the hauck box. I just screwed it through the body and had to bolt it right next to the shock. Just call and ask hauck what you should do or if make a piece of steal to cover the plastic body from the pipe.
