I'm looking for anyones opinion on installing a boost bottle on a 00 MM700. Waste of money, or money well spent. Not looking for any huge hp gains, just clean it up a little. Or are reeds a better place to spend my cash. Thanks everyone.

I would try carbon tech reeds and maybe reed spacers. I have not heard many people brag about the benetifts of the boost bottle. I know first hand that the carbon tech reeds give great throttle response and I don't think reeds spacers can hurt either as long as you have the non-powervalve engine.

Thanks for the info. Do you know if V Force reeds work any better? Or just cost more.

No benefits to using V Force unless you have a ton of motor mods.
Reed spacers will help clean up the throttle response and open up the intake boost port.

boost bottle, viper reeds with reed notch or stock reeds with spacers and reed notch or aftermarket cages like vforce will open up that boost port. The boost bottle gets rid of alot of spitback oil running out of the air box, for that reason alone I will run one, not sure on the gain in power, some have said 30-40hp but seat of the pants dyno feels like 50-60

the boost bottle improves throtle responce alot and gains about 10 hp on bottom end. it has almost no effect on top end

Are there any jetting changes required when installing a boost bottle?

I have a boost bottle on both of my ported, "Bender" tripple piped SXs. With all the other mods I have found the Boost bottle to work VERY well on the red head tripples...conversely I saw no improvement on installing a boost bottle on my ported SRX except that the air box stayed much dryer.
I still have the boost bottles on both my SXs but have removed it off of my SRX.
Worth the money?....probably not but still it does improve performance somewhat on "Red Heads"

Looks like no jetting changes required as per the tech section Boost Bottle

from what i hear they work well with non powervalve motors, not so much for powervalved ones such as srx, some even claim a loss on top end.
