would anyone have an engagement guide for a '79 SRX primary clutch? not sure what spring / cam arms to look for. thanks in advance.

oval racing, I'm putting a '79 SRX primary and secondary on my '78 exciter to try out. a guy was telling me to take the comet off and go with the stock clutch.

gman i would not go in that direction if you want to make that thing go just give a pm and i will point you in the right direction I am no longer going to be racing the #871 exciter any longer it is going into retirement for the rest of its life... it has won enough races i think.. give me a shout and i will get back with ya on the set-up... #871R.A.D RACING

ONLY THING I CAN TELL YA IS GUY THAT TOLD YA TO SHELF THE COMET, WELL LOOK, COMET IS BETTER ON TUNEING PARTS ALONE, FAR AS PERFORMANCE, I DON,T REALLY KNOW FOR OVAL. THE SRX AND EXCITER USED SAME SECONDARY, JUST DEFFERENT HELIX AND SPRING. YOU NEED TO TALK WITH 871 EXCITER. 3:16 (yammie tony)
