looking for some help, 00 sxr 700 boggs to near stop when warmed up rips when cold, let cool five to ten rips again, dont even have to change plugs. Been through entire fuel system, stator looks good under visual inspect, crankseals good. Could it be my coil trigger?

I will do the stator tests later today. I did however test the orange,coil trigger, wire when cold and warm yesterday with recoil pulls. It read 14 to 18 volts cold, after the sled started stumbling I read some pulls as low as 5 volts. Stator supplying bad voltage , or switch relaying bad voltage? I dont know if the switchs themselves can go bad im just digging fo my solution.
Take your stator out, put it inside somewhere, put the tester on the correct leads and look at the readings. Then have somebody beat on the bench next to it and see if the numbers jump around. This was how we knew ours was going bad.
