I went to take my sled out for one last run on the ice after I put stabil in the gas. Since the ice was so smooth I decided to open it up and see what it could do, Well I hit about 95 mph or so and the track blew apart. I locked up the brake to keep the track from doing more damage.

Here are the results
Had to be pulled home by a CAT

Used a knee board to slide it home

Lucky. You might consider playing the lottery this week. Those loose clips look new. Were they recently put on?

Yeah, there were 35 missing and some were warn through, so I replaced most of them about 400 miles ago. Im suppried it lasted as long as it did, the track has almost 10,000 miles on it.

Theres nothing like that last 100 mph trip of the year.....
I found this in the snow flap of my Arctic Cat after doing some runs on the same day that my track blew off the Yamaha.

Niceee... I have a picture of my flap with a stud all the way through it to the backer.

Why would you waste the time and money on a 11yr old track to re clip it I would have just bought a newer used one.

I figured it was still in good shape when I did it. No torn lugs or missing studs so I though why not.

Live and learn I guess
