hey guys the snow is melting here. i have been thinking about my asphalt set up and woundering what helix i should be running. right now i have a dalton 47/49. i have a few months before that starts tho. lots of thinking and adjusting to come. and does any one else run asphalt?

Not yet

I have the same year you have and am thinking about running asphalt just for the hell of it. How much does it cost to convert, and what kind of times would a stock machine turn?

i got my track and skiis used from a buddy that ran a sxr. bone stock everything. right off the snow to asphalt. 11.7 @ 108mph. where i run you only need boots, a leather coat, snell approved helmet and gloves if you are 120mph. have done a bit of work over the winter hoping to pick up some time and speed.

I run a 2000 srx. mods are: bender trail ported, bender cold air kit, bender can, v-force, heelclickers and a bender helix. sounds likee alot, BUT its not. all bolt on stuff. my best is a 10.46 @ 119. GOING BIG BORE THIS YEAR. hoping for 9's !! its a ton of fun and not very expensive. ive got 3500 $ into the entire operation.

what tooth gears are you all running? im not sure which one of my srxs ill put on the asphalt. but should i pretty much just leave it stock and play for the first yr?

I run pretty close to that for weight in my 1136 :)

Maybe he's running a helix with a 30 finish.

WE ARE RUNNING A RED HEAD TRIPLE/ BENDER TRIPLE PIPED 700 SX THATS BEEN LIGHT,EN UP BY ALMOST 100 POUNDS REMOVED FROM IT WITH A 10.5 TRACK AT THOSE NUMBERS IN THE 1/8. IF YOUR DOING THESE NUMBERS, NICE JOB, I WON,T SAY HARD TO BELIEVE THOUGH, I JUST RAN 110 IN 1000 F.T. ON ICE WITH A 100% STOCK 02 SRX WITH A 150 POUND DRIVER AND NOBODY BELIEVED ME, SO I KNOW THE FEELING. 3:16 (yammie tony)

WE RUN MOSTLY AT NYIRP. THIS SLED IS NOT MINE. ITS MY NEIGBORS. DOUBT WE WILL BE AT ESTA. WHAT ARE YOUR 1/4 TIMES 3:16 (yammie tony)
