here is a pic of the 98 srx 700 clutch i bought used for my 99srx 700. The company didnt know what spring or weights were in the clutch...does anybody know what spring and weights these are just by looking at them. I know I'll have to weigh them and test them out to determine where i'm at...i noticed the shoulder bolt weight....could it be a heel clicker setup? I should have the clutch in a few days but i dont know if i should just bolt this thing in first to try it or use some components i have out of my clutch. I have a black hauck primary spring, blue/white/blue yamaha spring, and a set of 8dn10 w/ 4.5 in both holes sitting in my garage. I'm not sure what i should use. Does this clutch look ok to you guys....my old one was wobbling pretty bad...so i picked this used unit up because a new piece was just too expensive...thanks

It looks to me like you have Heelclicker weights in ther probably with 15.6 rollers.I can see the bolt and washers at the end of the HC in your clutch.

You can also sand the faces with sandpaper to roughen up.Use like a 150 emery paper. You will have to see if bushings are decent through out.If she binds when you pin it,then bushings out of wack.Don't know that spring..

sorry if I'm missing something. why would sanding the faces help. do you mean the faces of the clutch that grasp the belt? I'm assuming this prevents the belt from slipping?......

you roughen up the surface, they get to shinny and slip more. Also scrub the belt in hot soapy water and rinse also.Plus keep the belt dust out of the clutch with forced air pressure.
