srx tach pulse


thanks. can a tach that can be set to 2,3, or 4 pulse be made to work on a 6 pulse sled?
 
I don't believe so, but I am no expert. If any of those would work, I would say 3 pulse, but I doubt it.
 
that sucks cause i have a autometer pro comp tach just sitting around. i thought it might be more accurate than stock, and more bling factor of course.
 
Autometer does build a tachometer that will work on our sleds, but mine was not calibrated properly (read low), and you can't calibrate it yourself. The autometers need to be sent in to Autometer. VDO's are the way to go.
 
do you know of anywhere that has good prices on vdo? what model would you reccomend valin?
