I just want to thank the people here that contribute their valuable setup knowledge. A few weeks ago I went to a small to medium size 1000' radar run and got 1st with both mine and my daughters sleds. My Viper went 96.7mph and my daughters little XTC 500 with over 8000 miles an the clock (never rebuilt) went 87.1mph. I realize these aren't amazing numbers but these sleds are in the same setup as we ride all the time with, Jetting, Clutching, Suspension, Gearing. The only small change was to back the secondaries off to compensate for running on the ice. All of us with trail studs would spin half way down the track. My Viper setup is very close to MrViper700's Heel Clicker/Helix setup. (all sleds being slightly different) My XTC 500 Setup is VMAX John's. Some of the speeds at this run for comparison were. 1000 T-CAT 103.5mph, 2008 1000 crossfire cat with pipe & programmer 100mph, a 700 Polaris Improved stock w/pipes 102mph, a turbo Apex 117mph & a beautiful 700 SRX that needed to consult TY since it only ran 93mph. I would never have had the time or money to experiment enough on my own to find these setups. Thank You MrViper700. I'm glad you're back and thank you vmax john where ever you are.
