16 lbs first 18 lbs final on small.
18 llbs first 22 lbs final on large head bolts.
DON,T KNOW WHAT SERVICE MANUAL YOU HAVE. MINE SHOWS IT VERY PLAIN AND SIMPLE. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Torque patteren
I have a 1980 srx manual, I know the ibs. of torque needed what I don't know is if there is a pattern (what bolt to tighten first then #2,3 and so on). I use to build a lot of small block Chevy motors years ago (1970's) and there was a specific pattern you had to follow. My manual only shows crank case bolt pattern. Just want to make sure I do this the right way. Thanks.

USE YOUR OWN PATTERN. DO THEM ALL FIRST, THAN DO THEM ALL FINAL. 3:16 (yammie tony)
