Ok, I rode my Mnt Viper last Sunday and it was literally 55-57 degrees outside. It was hot. You could ride in a tee shirt type weather. It was also pretty humid.

Basically, the sled was riding like crap when it got warm. Made lots of popping/gurgling type noises. Not back fires and not feeling like a bog, but there was hesitation until throttle was first throttle to 1/2 way throttle. then sled rode fine 1/2 way to WOT. Was just weird. After dark when it cooled down the sled rode a lot better, but was still hesitating, just a little.

After the ride I checked the plugs and they all had oil on the outside on the screw in part. They were also pretty dark/carbon coated in the centers per the plug wash specs. The plugs looked pretty bad so I removed them and put in new ones. Now seems to run fine when I idle it in the garage. No snow left now though so I can't even take it for a spin!

What does everybody think?

I figured i was just running way too fat/rich. I do have the ataac system on my sled, so I'm not used to jetting/changing jetting, ataac usually takes care of that. But maybe it was just waaaay to warm and humid.

Anybody have any other thoughts?

No experience with an attac, but it's not hard to imagine my sled running a bit shabby at 55F when I can run it at -10F. That's a pretty big jet swing. Wait till winter again and I'm guessing it will be just like you remember.

yah u have to remember the thing is jetted to run in sub freezing temps and below, its gonna run really fat when its warmer out, next winter it should be just fine
