My 03 viper had 'The powder bug' earlier this winter. My yamaha Viper got a 144 track with the 'Bender triple Pipes' . I've look everywhere on this site and even call 'Bender' to find the proper jetting and clutch information for mountain riding style . They could not tell me the proper jetting spec
(or anything usefull at all) because they never test those sled like we do over here in BC at approx 6000-8000 ft in deep powder conditions.
A real nightmare but luckly the guy s at MOUNTAIN PERFORMANCE, INC. in Utah, were able to provide me their own tuning spec for a triple pipes Vipers.
I ve use their setting (6000-8000 ft) for the jetting but kept my clutch as it is and Turn out that my powder bug was only a jetting issue after all. I been a proud Yamaha sled owner ever since.
Here is the 'precious' jetting sheet informations (Viper+triple Pipes) attach with this thread. Enjoy and hope this help the next guy that got the Powder Bug!.!

Good to know...I got my jetting info off of this site from another guy who had jetting for 8000+, looks like I had the correct jetting, I was still a little on the fat side though, our main riding was 9000-10500ft. I will have to print this off and keep it in a safe.. GOOD FIND!
