Does anyone know how the insurance companies determine the "salvage value" of a wrecked SRX when they total it? They said I can keep the sled and the insurance money, minus the salvage value of the sled.

witch means you can buy the sled from the insurance company if you want .i would say they would give you $500 less out of your total payment from them.so if your going to buy another srx i would keep it for parts lol

Damn! $3200.00! They gave me $2200.00 and sold it back to me for $475.00. Needs a trailing arm, rh belly pan, windshield and the hood fixed.

Yeah, I was kind of surprised.....and when you buy it back, you don't have to R-title it like a car.....just fix it and kepp on riding!
