skipping the srx yesterday

had a great day and the SRX is like a jetski, For those of you that want to skip ANY yamaha NOTE that there is a square hole in the cowrners of the bulkhead, if you dont caulk them or weld them shut you will sink!! the hole on the pto side sprays dirrectly at the primary cluth, take care of thoes hole and you will skip all day long...

It is about 4ft its like a jetski, It dont sink, I was starting with my spindles in the water, its geared 20-41 and pulls very hard across the water..
 
funny you say about water spraying directly at clutch.Last season's end |I was skipping my 600 in about 1 to 1.5 feet of water in the ditches..All was going good and all of a sudden instant drop in pulling..barely made it to the side of the ditch.So something got wet in my clutches.It was like a kill switch was hit.LOL
