Can you use the SR 433 pistons in the GPx's. Do the skirts need milling.

DAVE, I BELIEVE THE GYT KIT FOR GPX WAS VERY SIMILIAR TO THE SR KITS. I DON,T BELIEVE YOU HAVE TO MACHINE THE PISTON SKIRT. I MIGHT BE WRONG THOUGH. 3:16 (yammie tony)
433 pistons
What is the difference between the 75 GPX pistons and the 74 pistons.

SAME PART # 3:16 (yammie tony)
Pistons
74 and 75 GPX pistons are not the same. The 74 piston has a higher dome and a straight ring like the SR pistons. 75 pistons have a flatter dome (but not quite as flat as a SRX 440 piston). The 75 piston has a keystone ring as well. hope this helps

These are std numbers only...skirts on an SR piston would be slightly shorter i think than a stock GPX piston, GYT 433 GPX pistons are the same as 72-73 SR pistons. All have different part numbers but take the same iron ring and should interchange
