Is there any upgrades to better then oem type sliders avalible? and what is the best ice scratchers for the srx?

get a hold of bluemonster1 he's the Red River Ice speed demon he'll help you out

even oem has diffrent ones, just get a good set of graphite ones, slides a little easier and also does not stick as easy either. also i am trying now is i went to the new style (wide slides) wich are a little wider outside width and the come on all the newer sleds, they are the yamaha hp wide slides. havnt done enough riding with em to test out so i dont know if there is any benefit or not, i thought if nothing else may wear a little longer. if your looking for better sliding/coasting it helps to make sure your next track is fully clipped if you dont have already. this kind of stuff makes alot of diffrence for people here since it is in alot of marginal snow conditions.

RR Speed Demon eh!!!! ;)! Good one there..today the river is just flowing water and ice jambs..no speed runs today...lol

I put in new graphite hy-fax a while back with a good set of ice scratchers .BUT I also have the polaris over sized idlers,7.5 rear SRX wheels from years back and a marginal snow wheel kit up front..oh and installed hy-fax wear pads to boot along with 120 mega-bites.
My hy-fax did not wear anything except a tad between the marginal wheel and front idler wheel and that's it.Hy-fax totally straight from there to the rear.I am surprised about the straightness,no waviness going on like the old pair.I think the ice scratchers made a whole difference there for the wear and tear of slides.I am way happy now.
Now this RED RIVER SPEED DEMON will be re-building the 700 for next season and will really put the power to the track on the RED RIVER..lol
