Mine aint a SRX but its a viper s with a few extra's that might give a few of you a run, but i feel the same way every time i walk into the garage and take a look. In fact i go out there just to do that more than not. LOL!!!!

now imagine if Yamaha could come up with a new model of the SRX.Give it that mean look also..something distinctive..a class of it's own and with a 200hp power plant..fuel injected and pure muscle sled.It would sell like crazy I would think..the name itself would sell it.Can't believe Yamaha hasn't given it any thought..would turn their sales right around.

IF YOUR AS OLD AS ME , YOU REMEMBER THESE SLEDS, I DO BECAUSE I STILL OWN THEM TODAY AND RACED THEM THAN. IN 1983 YAMAHA WAS DONE WITH THAT NAME AND BROUGHT IN THE ALL NEW '' VMAX MAXXIMUM VELOSITY '' NAMEPLATE. YAMAHA HOOTED THIS AS FASTEST YAMAHA WE EVER BUILT. NOT EVEN CLOSE. OLDER SRX,s WERE STILL FASTER. IN THE LATE NINTES, THE SRX RETURNS. YAMAHA BRINGS BACK THAT AWSOME NAME WHICH STOOD FOR SPEED AND POWER. THEY ONCE AGAIN HOOT THE SRX WILL BEAT THE VMAX 4. FROM 98- 2002 THE SRX IS THE KING. NOTHING TOUCHES IT. HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF JUST LIKE THE LATE SEVENTIES. I've been loving the SRX looks ever since they came out in 98 and just finally I get my hands on one and I don't think I'll ever let this one go as long as they keep making parts for these sleds to keep them running, no 4stroke in the near future for me, these sleds rock in the snow, on the Ice and scare competition on on the grass, like bluemonster1 said all Yamaha needs is to up the power a little to 180-200hp and they'll keep on ruling the lakes. LONG LIVE THE SRX.
