When you guys long traveled your SRX's, what transfer rods did you use? I used SXR Max rods but I had to drill the hole in the slide rails to mount it in that position. I was just wondering what other people have done. Thanks

I kept my stock srx setup (2000) and machined an extension to the rod.
( 5/8 dowel rod with clearance hole for bolt.) it was 10mm long. I then made and played with various thickness nylon bushings to get the top and bottom gaps to 10mm with me on the sled. this is my starting point. I have yet to try out this viper setup...waiting for snow. i will make some 2mm bushings and bring them on my ride/trip, and swap around to see what affect they will have and dial it in.
