does anyone change the air correction jet in the summer and if so what to? do you change your need height? just getting set up for the asphalt this summer.

i run at Grandbend motorplex. mostly test and tune for now. but going to bracket race it a few times. just to see how i do.

If you run without the airbox,just open carbs the stock jetting is pretty close.

i run the in winter for jets is a 42.5 pilot and 155, 156.3, 157.5. with a completely guted airbox. and not sure where my needle are at. i going to run a 3 air filters. i was talking to a guy that has ran a srx's in grass drags he change the air fuel correction jet on the outlet of the carb in the summer. just wonder if any is doing that.

I always change the air jet's for drag racing or speed runing.I will have to grab my notes.
I have changed out mine as well for the summer months, just have to check em out for ya.

I ran .5 air jet's
Pro116 you used .5 air jets with the airbox removed and stock jetting for grass and asphalt
Ran .5 air jets with stock air box for grass and l also ran them airjets with filters on grass.For aspahlt only you can run with no airbox because no dust.I actually run .5 air jets for speed running to in the winter time.

Different fuel has a dif stoch number...
13:1 is on 93 fuel
run .7 with a 52.5 pilot. if you foul a plug go to a 50 pilot. ONLY BECAUSE ITS BRACKET RACING. air screws at 3 1/2 turns. 135's straight across. br8es in the pto
that will put ur egt at 1275. or close to it. depending on how fresh your motor is. the air at your track is the same as where i race
jsut a thought.... airbox gives you air from the outside. (with a bender cold air kit) no air box gives you air from under the cowl. what do you want ??? hot air or cooler air???

by put a putting a smaller air jet in are you riching to leaning out the engine.
