On a trip back from So. Maine this weekend saw an 04 Viper S, at a dealer, and had to turn car around to check it out. Looked in good shape, clean has reverse and is studded. Hmm...called dealer to check on it yesterday, as they were closed on Sunday. Found out it has 8600 mi., from original owner. They gave me a price, but wanted to see from you guys, what this should be worth...in very good shape.
Thanks for any input. Will talk to the original owner, before any purchase is considered...
Went thru a couple big snow squalls on Sat. and 36 degrees, got 2-5 in in some places. Happy Spring!!!

I don't know but 8600 is a lot of miles. I have an 04 in excellent shape with a 136" AD Boivin suspension in it. 4500 miles on mine and I'd let it go for $3,800. How does their price compare to that?

They are askiing $2950, but that is with alot of unknowns. Want to get a feel for what is out there, or can be had. I know the 04 S beats the heck out of my old 02 Viper in ride and features...Sold my S last Fall for $3200, but not as clean as one I saw Sunday (mine had some extras, though; control rods, riser, torque limiter..)

2500 Would Be A Good Price For Both Parties. I Wouldn't Hesitate On The Mileage....14, 600 On My 02 With Very Little Issues.

Buy a long traveled SRX. Mine 
I've had two vipers and always ended up back on the SRX. The triple triple is soooo much nicer. IMO
Those Viper S's sure do look nice though. Nice to see guys getting high mileage on them. I personally wouldn't trust a sled with that kind of mileage unless it was a 4-stroke. I'd be to scared to stray too far from home.

Got mine last yr with 3600mi, $2500. Would buy another if i could find it!!!!!!!!!!!
