Anybody Still Riding? Went Out Last Thursday And Saturday And Had An Absolute Blast! 18in. Of Fresh And 55 And Sunny....tough To Beat!
i gave up about 10 days back. similar conditions early in the day exept for very sketchy for the first 7 miles up the mountain. did your snow turn to mush about midday? ours did. great in the trees but heavy in the sun. hard on the forearms and the belts. glad your still in it, sadly i started the summerization procedures.

apr 10 11 12 chatter creek, silent pass, and quartz creek trails were snow covered right to staging area and alpine had 1' to 2' dry powder, it was awesome

I rode at wolfcreek, and then creede. Had to ride some dirt te get there. but once on the snow it was pure corn

My brother and sister lived in Pagosa Springs for a few years. Was out there a couple times, but never during riding season. Wish they were still there so I could go out and ride

changed my mind, loaded the deck and sleds, heading out in the am for the new 22" that supposedly fell. as for now, i am potentially still riding. details after the ride.

5/2/10, what a day! waste deep fresh snow, a little on the wet heavy side, belt smoking, power robbing, clutch heating wet cement like snow. buried the dmax twice on the unplowed road. dug it out twice, chained it up, broke the rubber snubbers for the chains, tore the sensor off the wheel for the abs, left my helmet on the sled deck when we left, along with a new set of goggles, they are now somewhere between here and there and the search ended up empty(80 mile backtrack). had 2 yamaha riders come in behind us and spent hours digging them out, sore as hell today, BUT LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT! heading out again soon after this next big storm. it aint over.
