Hey guys' need to know something,if your changing out the chain should a guy install a new sprocket set?The sled has 10,500 kms on her and the chain is getting streched on the adjuster, so should I cahange everything?

Take a look at the teeth and see how worn they are. If you always kept up with tightening the chain and never let it run loose too much you should be okay. You just want to make sure that the new chain won't be climbing the teeth of the old sprockets, then it will start slipping and wreck the teeth and your new chain.

Changed only my chain on my '99 SX 600 at 8,000 miles after it broke. I didn't change out the gears because they were not worn but, I always keep up on the chain tension and change the gear oil at least once a season and sometimes more depending on the # of miles I have put on and how I have ridden. I've put on about 1,200 miles since putting the new chain in without any problems.
