I have a 06 Vector & I would like to remove the reverse set-up & the
chain case cover so that I could inspect the gears & bearings. Is there
any short cuts that I could take. If someone has done this already on
their sled could you steer me in the right direction. When I remove these
2 parts is there any thing that I need to replace because of this.

It's all about remembering where everything goes when you put it back together.

Here's some info on installing a reverse kit on an rx1 which should give you some visuals of what it's going to look like in there.

The cover seal is reusable and the tough part on reassembly will likely be getting the shift fork in the groove correctly.
